Michelle Williams est une actrice américaine née en 1980. Après plusieurs petits rôles à la télévision et quelques séries B, elle connaît le succès en 1998 en interprétant le rôle de Jennifer 'Jen' Lindley dans Dawson.

Parallèlement, elle choisira ses prestations au cinéma avec soin : elle joue aux côtés de Christina Ricci dans Prozac Nation, dans The United States of Leland avec Ryan Gosling et Kevin Spacey, ou encore dans The Station Agent, une comédie dramatique primée de nombreuses fois. Elle décroche un autre rôle important dans Le secret de Brokeback Mountain, où elle incarne la femme trompée du regretté Heath Ledger, qui vit un amour passionné avec un homme. Elle sera nommée à de nombreuses récompenses pour ce film.

Dernièrement, nous avons pu la retrouver dans Blue Valentine ou encore La Dernière Piste. Cette année, c'est dans le rôle de Marilyn Monroe que nous la retrouverons avec My Week with Marilyn qui devrait sortir en fin d'année.

Côté vie personnelle, elle a été la compagne du comédien Heath Ledger, avec qui elle a eu une petite Mathilda le 28 octobre 2005. Le couple s'était rencontré sur le tournage de Brokeback Mountain. Ils se sont séparés en septembre 2007, 4 mois avant le décès de l'acteur le 22 janvier 2008.

Je ne vais pas faire dans l'originalité mais je l'ai seulement vu dans Dawson et dans Le secret de Brokeback Mountain.
Ce n'est pas une actrice où j'ai eu la pulsion de voir le reste de sa filmo (peut-être parce que je n'aimais pas Jen dans Dawson^^) mais je la trouve quand même très convaincante et très jolie, j'adore les photos que tu as mise surtout la première, celle de Marilyn et la dernière.

Comme beaucoup j'imagine, la première fois que je l'ai vue c'est dans Dawson où j'aimais bien son personnage et ensuite dans Brokeback Mountain (même si j'ai un vague souvenir d'elle dedans).

Mais le film que j'ai vraiment adoré d'elle c'est "Deception" avec Hugh Jackman et Ewan McGregor! J'ai trouvé sa prestation fantastique dans ce film qui est franchement excellent.

Je n'ai pas encore vu Blue Valentine et je le ferai sans doute sous peu, c'est un film qui me tente beaucoup.

Comme toutes ici, je l'ai connu avec Dawson, mais je crois que j'ai pas assez accroché à la série pour vraiment m'intéresser à cette actrice. Ce n'est que quand j'ai vu Brokeback mountain que j'ai réalisé à quel point elle jouait bien (notamment la fameuse scène où elle se rend compte que son mari la trompe, elle est tellement juste dans ses gestes, dans son regard, elle est vraiment touchante et impressionnante de justesse).
J'aime beaucoup ses choix de carrière (toujours tournés très films indépendants), et j'aimerais qu'elle l'ait un jour cet oscar (elle a déjà été nominée deux fois), je trouve qu'elle a beaucoup de nominations mais pas assez de récompenses à mon goût ^^

Sinon j'ai hâte de voir son biopic sur Marylin.

Je la suis depuis Dawson, c'est elle qui s'en est le mieux sorti, elle tourne beaucoup dans des films indépendants.
