Tiens tiens! Je suis très intéressée, «egocentriquement » car j’expérimente la vie rurale depuis 1 an et demi.

Ca a vraiment l'air très intéressant. Hâte d'avoir ton avis final.

Je ne suis pas sûre de le lire très vite mais je me régale pour l'instant.
On sent que Harriet Baker s'est beaucoup documentée mais son récit reste très fluide et agréable à lire.

Tous les petits détails de la vie de Virginia Woolf à la campagne sont intéressants à découvrir. On apprend notamment de quelle manière, à la suite de sa grave dépression, elle a renoué avec l'écriture grâce à un petit carnet de notes tout à fait banal (du moins en apparences), organisé son quotidien avec ses domestiques ou encore sa vie avec Leonard. La comparaison qui est faite entre sa vision de la ruralité et celle de Vanessa Bell qui vivait à proximité est tout à fait passionnante aussi.

J'en apprends encore bien davantage sur Sylvia Townsend Warner que je connaissais bien mal au final et qui était une femme assez fascinante.
